Garden Fencing in Fife

A good fence gives you privacy, keeps children and pets safe and finishes the garden. We install and repair garden fencing across Fife, for homes in Kelty, Dunfermline, Cowdenbeath, Lochgelly, Kirkcaldy, Glenrothes, Inverkeithing, Rosyth, Kinross and the villages in between.

Fences That Stand Up to Scottish Wind and Rain

Fences fail at the posts. We set posts deep enough for exposed Fife gardens, in concrete or on proper post supports, and use gravel boards so the panels aren’t sitting in wet soil. That’s the difference between a fence that leans after one winter and one that lasts.

We fit traditional panel fencing, stronger closeboard (featheredge), contemporary horizontal slatted fencing and picket fencing, along with matching garden gates. If part of an existing fence has blown down, we can repair or replace just the damaged sections.

Old fencing can be removed and taken away as part of the job, so you’re left with a clean, finished boundary.

About the workshop

Built on Proper Posts, Not Just Nailed Up

Wind is the biggest enemy of fencing in Fife. We choose post size, depth and panel type to suit how exposed your garden is, and we’ll tell you honestly where a cheaper panel will be fine and where a stronger closeboard fence is worth it.

Every quote lists the fence type, height, posts, gravel boards and removal, so there are no surprises.

Who It's For

Which Fence Suits Your Garden

Most customers want either a straightforward replacement of an old, leaning fence, or a more modern slatted fence that lifts the look of the garden.

Slatted Fencing & Gates

Contemporary horizontal slatted fencing and matching gates for a cleaner, modern look around patios and decking.

What Goes Into a Fencing Job

We measure the boundary, check ground conditions and how exposed the garden is, and agree fence style and height. The quote covers removal of old fencing, posts, gravel boards, panels or boards, and any gates. On the day, posts are set, gravel boards and panels fitted, gates hung and the site cleaned up. Most garden fences are completed in one to two days.

Fence ownership and boundary questions are common, so it’s worth checking your title deeds or speaking to neighbours before work starts.

How long does a new fence take to install?

Most garden fences are installed in one to two days, depending on length and ground conditions.

Timber or concrete fence posts?

Can you repair a fence that has blown down?

Yes. We can replace posts and panels on damaged sections without replacing the whole fence.

Do you take away the old fence?

Yes. Removal and disposal of old fencing can be included in the quote.

Which areas of Fife do you cover?

We cover Kelty, Dunfermline, Cowdenbeath, Lochgelly, Kirkcaldy, Glenrothes, Inverkeithing, Rosyth, Kinross and the villages in between.
